Im not intending to critisize your lifestyle at all. You are entitled to do whatever the hell you want with your money. But I just had a problem with the "Im a democrat because I cant afford to be a republican comment." It just bothered me and I wanted to say something about it.

I cant afford to, I've made 8K the last 6 months off of online poker, theres not another job I could get where I could make better than that right now. So, no I cant afford to be a republican, 16K a year is not a lot of money and thats what I'm on pace to make. For me it's great money, and if not for my parents I'd only have 6K left after paying for school. There is my whole entire point, can you not see that?

Over the long haul? Thats debatble, I'm not intending to live off poker for the rest of my life. It's my part time job, just like your part time job. Thats where you dont understand, and are making yourself out to be complety stupid. You have a job, I have a job, we both go to school. Yet when I take the money I get from my job and go on vacation, I'm irresponsible, hypocrit, and a lazy fat [censored]. So feel however you choose, but dont judge me on a public message board as I said if you ever want to question me do it to my face. I'll stay out of your business and you can stay out of mine. The bottom line on this whole deal is that PVFAN took the money from is part time job and went on vacation and by him going on a vacation it rubbed you the wrong way.

If you want to call gambling a part-time job then whatever bro. Like I said, I might have been out of line, and no its none of my business. But when we have a prior debate and then something comes up that I think pertains to the prior debate and affects my thoughts and opinions about something, Im going to say something about it.

So my going on vacation has an effect on whether our government should provide more student grants/loans. That makes no sense at all.

By the way things are at least perceived, the GOP is viewed as the party for the wealthy, the Democrats (as they are criticized on here regularly for) are the party that helps the poor more (yes sometimes to a fault!). I don't think its any more wrong to say 'I don't earn enough to be a Republican' than it is to say 'I'm not a Democrat, I work for a living'
